In La Reina’s factory, corn is prepared every day in the traditional way, a process called nixtamalization. It’s this, along with the attention to detail, which ensures that La Reina tortillas have the same authentic quality as those made locally in México. It’s pure craftsmanship!

At La Reina, they take extra special care to make sure the corn is just right before being passed through the whirring machine, just like the ones you find in Mexico. They prepare the dough - without a hint of manufactured corn flour in sight. And you can tell the difference from its color, texture, and above all, its great taste. These fresh tortillas are made from yellow corn, and this is why they’re so soft and tender, and puff up a little when you prepare them.

Ingredients: Corn dough 97%, corn flour 2%, antioxidant (E330), preservatives (E282,E202,E200), acidity regulator (E526) and thickeners (E466,E412,E415).
