Grön enchilada sås, La Costeña, 420g
Enchiladas are a fried corn tortillas which you fill with cheese, meat, chicken or other ingredients. The enchiladas are covered with chili sauce, sour cream, feta cheese. If you do not want to fry the tortillas you can warm them in a pan, roll them with a cheese / chicken / meat and bake in the oven. There are different varieties of enchiladas, depending on the region.
You can also use the sauce for your "Chilaquiles". The difference between the chilaquiles and enchiladas is that in the chilaquiles we use pieces of fried tortillas (totopos /nachos) instead of a rolled corn tortillas.
Ingredients: green tomatillo, water, spices, chicken broth in powder (soy, celery, and (E621)), serrano chili, lard, iodized salt, modified starch of corn, baking powder, (E621) as a flavor enhancer.
